TRAVEL ADVICE

BOOKING - Book your Holiday Now

We can offer advice on the best deals available.

The majority of people buy one of the multi-day passes which allow you to move between the various theme parks on the same day,. All grant unlimited access to the monorails, buses and ferries (remember to always get your hand stamped if you leave one park but intend to return), as you can't walk between the parks (except for a fairly long haul between Epcot and Disney-MGM Studios), and trying to do more than one in a day is a recipe for disaster. The choice of tickets for Disney in particular is bewildering, so make sure you buy only what you need.

The main options at the ticket booths are:

  • 1-day ticket - giving access to one of the four main parks (you may NOT move from park to park with this ticket);
  • 4- or 5-Day Park Hopper, providing 4/5 days at the main parks, with multiple parks on the same day;
  • 5-, 6-, 7-Day Park Hopper Plus, 5/6/7 days at the four parks, with multiple same-day visits, PLUS 2/3/4 visits to any of Disney's Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon water parks, Pleasure Island and Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex~' (excluding special events at WWoS). All multi-day passes offer savings against buying 1-day tickets, and unused days never expire, so can be saved for any time in the future.
  • In the UK, you can buy the 5- and 7-Day Park Hopper Plus through tour operators, ticket brokers and Disney Stores.

The 10-Day World Ticket is available ONLY in the UK and gives 10 days' entry to the four main parks, water parks, Pleasure Island, Disney Quest Indoor Interactive Theme Park and Disney's Wide World of Sports Complef (excluding special events), plus a FREE character breakfast. However, this pass expires 20 days after its first use (unlike the Hopper passes, which are valid until all the days are used up.

Guests at Disney hotels can buy an Ultimate Park Hopper ticket, giving entry to all the parks, Pleasure Island, Disney ~c Wide World of Sports Complex AND Disney Quest Indoor Interactive Theme Park for the length of their stay, plus a few valuable extras like 'kids eat free' at the hotel. The price varies according to how long you stay. For stays of 2 weeks or more, it is worth considering the Annual Pass or Premium Annual Pass (check the Ticket Prices section on ummi.wdwinfo.com). You can also save money on many Disney tickets by booking online at www.disney.co.uk (go to Holidays and then Buy Tickets).

Be wary of travel agent pressure to buy too many theme park tickets. You may well find you can't fit everything in, plus, for some attractions, you can often buy cheaper in Orlando, even from the tour operators' reps.
